As stated in one of my previous post, I've decided to showcase more of my personal "fashion" collections. My decision is based upon the intent to continue improving diva fashion blog and also to let readers know that I am truly passionate about what I'm writing (or featuring on this blog.)
Louis Vuitton has been one of my favorite brands for quite a few years. I love the timeless pattern of their handbags and most importantly their high level of quality. When deciding to make the investment (and yes, it's an investment) in the Louis Vuitton brand, you are making the choice to have a fashionable, staple accessory that can be passed down from one generation to the next. You are also making the choice to stand out amongst fashion followers and the commitment to love and care for one of the ultimate fashion accessories.
When selecting a handbag from the Louis Vuitton retailer, you want to select a purse that fits your lifestyle. Prior to visiting the store in Chevy Chase and Towson Town Center, I needed to select a purse that would be fitting to my needs. It was not wise for me to purchase the Gold, Monogram Vernis (as my first handbag) simply because this is not a purse that I would carry on a daily basis!
After careful consideration and online shopping, I decided that the Monogram Canvas was the best option. Number one, I am a busy mom and I needed a durable handbag that has enough space to carry everything from lip gloss to apple juice. Number two, the Monogram Canvas is a versatile purse that can be interchangeable with my wardrobe. And lastly, this type of purse can be carried to a sorority meeting, daycare, or even work.
Once I purchased my first Louis Vuitton handbag, I also made the decision to stand out amongst other LV consumers and carefully selected a few accessories. Louis Vuitton accessories, just like their handbags, are made of the highest quality and rarely fade or lose their luster. There's nothing wrong with "dressing" up your bag by adding a lovely charm or scarf. This makes the ordinary handbag look fashionable and chic! Additional accessories in the store include, shoes, sunglasses, and belts.
Lastly, personalization is the key when investing in a "status" handbag! The Louis Vuitton brand provides complimentary hot stamping to all of their customers. The process is very simple, just bring your bags to the store (in the original sleeve of course) select the style/font of your initials, decide on the color of your initials (the color ranges from red to orange) and where your initials will be placed. The process generally takes about two weeks unless you are requesting to have the initials painted, which can take a bit longer.
In conclusion, fashion divas can never go wrong when investing in a Louis Vuitton handbag! Once you've made this decision, you will rarely spend time and money buying a purse (because you have your LV) and if there's a problem with the product such as the strap or the stitching, there's no hassle maintaining the item.
Ultimately, at this stage in my life, I am making fashion choices regarding the quality of clothing and accessories instead of the quantity of what's in my wardrobe.
