During my weekly web search for fashion inspiration, I came across some lovely pictures from Essence.com The photos were showcasing an array of beautiful, African - American women attending a luncheon in Manhattan, New York. For me, I could relate to the photos posted on the website simply because I am young woman living in a Metropolitan city. And just like the ladies in the pictures, every couple of months, my girlfriends and I try to connect over lunch or dinner at a restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland. But most importantly, the women in the snapshots displayed their individual style with a touch of class and sophistication.
I wanted to feature the photos from Essence.com because to me the pictures exemplified the woman that I currently am and the woman that I aspire to be (in the future. )
