Recently, Diva Fashion Blog had the opportunity to interview the footwear designer for the Gianni Rich collection. I will start by saying, that I am absolutely in love with these luxury boots! 1. What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is a form of self expression. Fashion is how we communicate to the world about our inner self, our style, our taste, our love for clothing. I love fashion. By wearing Gianni Rich, you are wearing real fashion, as our fashion is a form of self expression and great taste.
2. When did you realize you wanted to become a designer and how long have you been designing footwear?
I've been designing since the age 6 years old whether it was for me or for others. I knew at a early age that I wanted to create great fashion.

3. How long does it take to construct a piece (or collection?)
First, we start with the leather. Then it is all about coming up with a unique look or printing technique, then after wards we have to design the sole (SOUL) of the footwear that is the foundation of the design. Once we have our drawings, it can take up to 2 months for our factories to come up with a sample to match our vision. Once we approve the sample then production takes 3 months before it hits the floor of our retailers. It takes from pen to literally the floor about 6 months overall for a design to be made.

Fashion show's are exciting and take a full team of people to create an awesome show. We have the best team in all areas from production to public relations. PR to having a great collection is key. Having the right people in place for your fashion show is so important and great music is critical for setting the mood of the show.

Original design, quality, and client satisfaction. The bottom line is our clients love our brand as much as we do.

8. What is the future for the “Gianni Rich” brand?
The sky is the limit. We're expanding from boots to flats to pumps, and other footwear as well handbags, belts, wallets and sunglasses. We will be your go to brand for luxury accessories and items.
