It's very simple, handbags can either make or break your outfit! You can have on the perfect suit, skirt, or sweater but if your handbag is awful then your look is over! Handbags are a personal statement that visually tells the world how you feel about yourself. As my mother would put it, "every lady should have a quality bag!"
So, when we are shopping for a handbag we should take the following suggestions:
1. Check your handbag to make sure that it's not torn up! This means there should be no strings; leather that's peeling; and a broken zipper
2. Check to make sure your handbag is well made! This means check the stitching; will the strap break easily; does the hardware work properly
3. Check to make sure your handbag goes with your size! This means if you're petite your bag should not look like a piece of luggage (I've been victim to this...smile) and if you're a larger size women a smaller bag is not flattering!
4. Check to make sure your handbag works for work! This means you can still give off the appearance of professionalism with a great tote (here's a tip put a smaller handbag inside of your tote to keep your items organized)
