Catwalk For A Cause to Benefit Johns Hopkins Children’s Center

BALTIMORE, MD-– Baltimore may not be what some would consider a “Mecca of Fashion”, however a local agency is doing its part in shining the light on fashion in the city. Known for holding semi-annual fashion & networking events in Baltimore, KIS Agency’s upcoming 7th event is designed with a purpose. On Sunday November 14th, KIS Agency will produce the first ever fashion show fundraiser to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, entitled “Catwalk For A Cause”. The goal of this event is to bring awareness and raise financial support for the center through the celebration of fashion and style. With a beautiful set location at Baltimore’s Tremont, guests will be able to mingle with the designers and special guests during the pre-show cocktail reception, get their photos taken on the red carpet by paparazzi, indulge in a delicious finger foods and then take their seats to prepare for a memorable show that will push the envelope on fashion and style.

Proceeds from this show will specifically benefit expenses not covered by patient’s insurance, many expenses of which some families are unable to cover, including programs and camps for kids with chronic illnesses, new clothing for children in the pediatric emergency department, support groups for kids with cancer and their siblings, special car seats for infants in the NICU, meal tickets for families who arrive unexpectedly and do not have the funds to purchase food, and more.

Lana Rae, CEO of KIS Agency states, “Catwalk For A Cause is a new series of fashion show events that will allow us to give back to a cause that will directly affect local members of our community. Our upcoming event on November 14th is the very first installment, and I cannot think of a better cause than our future, to invest in. I am so excited to be able to give back to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, and their support of this event means so much to me.”

Catwalk For A Cause will be held on Sunday November 14th at the historic Tremont Grand, 225 N Charles St, Baltimore MD. Doors open at 4:00PM with the pre-show cocktail reception, red carpet arrivals and meet & greet from 4:30PM until 5:30PM. Show seating begins promptly at 5:30PM, with show time at 6PM.
